GLP-1 Weight Nutrition

GLP-1 Weight Nutrition is a UK direct-to-consumer supplement brand selling weight-management and performance stacks, fronted by a founder who appears in almost every ad himself. We took over a Meta account running at 1.6x ROAS and held it between 1.8x and 2.6x across roughly £220K of spend in three months, making every scale and kill decision on the client’s own analytics rather than on Ads Manager.

// Challenge

We inherited the account mid-flight from a buyer who was delivering around 1.6x ROAS on roughly £75K of monthly spend, against a client floor of 1.8x and a stated goal of scaling well beyond it. The catalogue made that hard: more than forty SKUs and a dozen bundle stacks, each with its own formula and its own compliance-sensitive claim, on a site that blocked text selection so not a single product description could be reused. Reporting made it harder — in-platform numbers and the client’s paid analytics disagreed by as much as 24% in the same month, so agreeing on what “working” meant had to come before any optimization. And the category itself left almost no room for error: weight-management supplements sit one review away from a restricted ad account.

// What we did

0

Took over the account without resetting it: we paused what was losing money and re-optimized the previous buyer’s proven ads, instead of the usual clean-slate rebuild that costs a month of learning phase.

0

Rebuilt the structure into three campaigns: one scaling campaign holding every proven winner, one testing campaign running a single ad set with a single creative so that every win was attributable to one variable, and one product campaign dedicated to the bundle stacks.

0

Moved optimization off Ads Manager and onto the client’s analytics: every scale, pause and budget decision was made on Triple Whale data and later on our own cross-channel analytics, because the two sources disagreed by up to 24% in the same month.

0

Ran a fixed weekly rhythm: creatives launched once a week, optimization passes twice a week, winners promoted from testing into scaling every week, anything under 2.0x ROAS defunded, and a performer and non-performer report sent to the client every Monday.

0

Ran two creative streams in parallel: the founder’s own deliberately absurd UGC hooks, which we scripted around and scaled, and our product statics and carousels built on the stacks that were actually selling in the client’s Shopify data.

0

Picked the bundles from sales data instead of intuition: the appetite-suppressant GLP-1 stack, the two-jar GLP-1 stack and the mass-gain-plus-cut stacks were promoted to always-on after they proved out in testing, while the rest stayed in rotation at test budgets.

// A WORD FROM THE TEAM

— Rosty C.

Founder, collaba.team

“The founder wrote and shot most of the UGC himself, and the more absurd the hook was, the better it sold — our own buyers found half of it unwatchable and it still printed. One of those videos got the ad account restricted for thirty days over a two-second gag I hadn’t watched to the end, and the client’s only concern was his account, not mine. Whoever presses publish owns the ban. Watch every frame of what you launch, however it got to you.”

// KEY TAKEAWAY

Cheap scale gets expensive

Three months in, the client left for a buyer working on a percentage who promised the scale we had been careful about. We kept read access for a few days and watched blended ROAS drop from around 2.0 to 0.8 within the first week of aggressive restructuring. Holding a profitable account steady is worth more than a promise to double it, and the difference between the two is usually visible within seven days.
