UK Premium Butchery
UK Premium Butchery is a British butcher shop selling dry-aged beef online — Galician Rubia Gallega, native-breed Wagyu and grass-fed cuts, every carcass aged in their own chiller. They came to us from an agency returning a Meta ROAS of 2 to 2.5, below the point where the account paid for itself, and on the same fixed £4,000 monthly budget we took it to 5.72 in July and 6.65 in August.

The account was not failing in a way anyone could point at, which is exactly what made it hard to argue about. The previous agency was returning a ROAS of 2 to 2.5 on Meta while the shop broke even at around 3, so every month the account ran, it quietly ate margin the owner could have kept. He had raised it; what came back was reporting rather than changes. The budget was the second constraint and it was not moving: roughly £4,000 a month for Meta, fixed, with no version of this where the answer was more money. And there was nothing to inherit — no view of the previous team's account, no record of what had been tested, no list of which products had ever carried a campaign.

Rebuilt the account around three campaigns instead of scattering the budget across fifty: one for creative testing, one evergreen campaign that carried the proven ads, and a catalogue campaign that tested product categories against each other, so a fixed £4,000 a month bought a clear read in three places rather than noise everywhere.
0
Moved creative onto a weekly cadence and produced it in-house: around ten new statics a week, built from the client’s own product photography and range, approved by him for the first few weeks and then left to us once the numbers held, which took the account from 92 ads live in July to 159 in August on the same budget.
0
Optimized twice a week and cut without waiting: an ad that was not paying its way came off in days rather than being left to spend out its learning phase, and that budget went straight back into the ads already returning above 7.
0
Promoted winners instead of rebuilding them: the dry-aged catalogue ad that returned 5.82 in July moved into the evergreen campaign and returned 10.47 in August on roughly the same spend, and the Galician and Wagyu catalogue sets travelled the same route.
0
Reported in a form the client could argue with: a monthly deck carrying the account numbers alongside a creative report saying which angles had earned their budget and which were being retired, so the next month’s launches were a decision rather than a guess.
«Amazing — my best decision to work with you this last year.»
"When the budget cannot grow, only two variables are left: how thinly you spread it and how long you tolerate an ad that is not working. Consolidating into three campaigns gave the algorithm enough signal to act on, and cutting losers in days rather than weeks put that money back into the ads already returning above 7. Same £4,000 a month, a return that went from 2.5 to 6.65."
